- Is there really a free plan?
- Yes. The Hacker plan is free forever with 10k queries and up to 50k documents per month — no credit card required. Access is currently invite-only during public beta, so join the waitlist to claim a slot.
- How does usage-based pricing work?
- On Pro you pay $0.40 per 1,000 queries with no seats and no minimums. Ingestion and storage are billed separately and transparently metered in your dashboard.
- What counts as a query?
- A single retrieval or agentic call to the API. SlimContext™ compression and reranking are included — you are never charged extra for precision.
- Can I self-host?
- Absolutely. The Community Edition runs on your own GPUs with one Docker command. Beast Mode adds dedicated clusters, VPC / on-prem deployment, SSO and a 24/7 SLA.
